Cherie comes with many stories from her travels where she finds new sources of inspiration for her own paintings. Cherie has a talent for making everybody feel comfortable whether you are a true beginner or an advanced professional artist. She has something valuable for everyone!

First Series of 4 classes
Demystifying Colour
This is an extremely valuable course on the study of colour presented in simple and straightforward easy to understand terms. The class will be hands-on mixing various colours from the basic primary colours. Upon completion of the course we will take home a finished book of colour mixes to refer to throughout your whole future art experience. Learning Cherie's way of understanding colour will give you a shortcut to creating exactly what you want. Learning how to better utilize colour is an amazing tool in your art kit and extremely important to convey the pieces that you want.
Dates: Tuesdays, May 14, 21st, 28th, and June 4th
Time: 1:00 PM-3:30 PM
Location: Donut House Studios, In the old Cannery Building

Second Series of 4 classes
Personal Path Painting
This ongoing series of classes will follow each student on their chosen subject, assisting and guiding us on our individually chosen subject matter and medium. This series honours the individual painter’s “style” while nurturing and supporting their journey. Personal creativity is welcomed and shared. Cherie will be doing various demos throughout the course on subjects that surface during the classes.
Dates: Thursdays, May 16th, 21rd, 30th, and June 6th
Time: 1:00 PM-3:300 PM
Location: Donut House Studios, In the old Cannery Building
Cost: $330.75, GST Included.
*Note: If you decide to take both of the series, you will have the opportunity to maximize on your colour practice in the Thursday classes.
